Markus studied Computer Science and Law at the Technical University of Munich and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, respectively. 

Markus obtain his Diploma in Computer Science before he started studying Law. Therefore, he has a strong background in the prosecution and litigation of computer-implemented-inventions (CII). While working as a computer scientist, he was responsible for developing and managing the data security, administrating the fire walling and network security. This required a deep technical knowledge, which he can now use to provide his clients with the best possible IP protection in the fast changing and difficult area of AI-implemented inventions. Thus, Markus drafts and prosecutes not only German, but also European and international patents in computer science, semiconductor-field and AI-related applications. Furthermore, he is an experienced patent litigator with more than 25 litigation proceedings in the past years.
