Jürgens’ professional focus is on advising small and medium-sized companies. He benefits from his decades of experience in the field of intellectual property rights. The strategic approach to using industrial property rights, in particular trademarks and patents, as intangible assets gives Ziebig Hengelhaupt’s clients the option of a sustainable increase in turnover. An important aspect of this is technology transfer, for which Jürgen also founded Spreepatent Schutzrechtsverwertung und Innovationstransfer GmbH.

After studying information electronics with focus on analog and digital circuit technology and power electronics, which Jürgen successfully completed as with a thesis on electrical connection technology, he worked as a patent examiner and as a manager in a patent department.

Jürgen is licensed as a German Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney.

After retiring as an active partner, Jürgen has been working for the firm since 2022 of Council.
