Profile

Uwe supports the Asian activities of Ziebig Hengelhaupt. He studied International Business Relations and holds a diploma in economics and in Japanese and English.

His connections to Japan go back a long way; as a group leader at the foreign trade company WMW in Berlin, he was responsible for the export of machine tools to Japan, Yugoslavia and China, among other countries.

His experience as technology transfer manager at the Academy of Sciences in Berlin was instrumental in founding Spreepatent GmbH to promote technology transfer between Europe and Asia.
